Each new team member has the opportunity to meet our Lafayette Support Team on their first day. During orientation, you will learn about our company culture, values, and history as well as an overview of our benefits, HR policies, Technology and Finance.
With a focus on prevention and positive reinforcement, our safety training allows employees to provide the least restrictive approach during a crisis and respond appropriately to dangerous behavior.
We offer 12 different topics that we train our new team members to help you understand the service we provide and have background knowledge before going into the field. Due to the diversity in experience of each new Critical Intervention Specialist, we train on 12 different topics to help encapsulate the position. These modules help new team members understand our services, nearby resources, frequently used interventions, amongst other things.
During the initial training period, we like to have our new team members shadow client visits. This is to accommodate different types of learners, so you can get both informative and hands-on training.
We offer weekly consultations for our licensed Psychologist, Psychiatrist, and Behaviorist which you can use to help develop your clinical knowledge further.
Through our online training platform, we have the ability to offer our team members self-paced training and webinars to help them develop their leadership skills. This platform would allow you to chart your course for leadership success and professional development.
